Emil Filla - (nar.: 03. apríla 1882, Chropyně - úmr.: 07. októbra 1953, Praha) bol významný český kubistický maliar, grafik a sochár. Ústrednou témou jeho obrazov bolo hlavne zátišie. V dobe 2. Svetovej vojny bol uväznený v koncentračnom tábore Dachau a Buchenwald. Po vojne bol vymenovaný za profesora novo založenej Vysokej školy umeleckého priemyslu v Prahe.
